Revenue Audit Clerk

JOB PURPOSE

The primary objectives of the Revenue Audit Clerk are to monitor the data from all revenue-generating centers to protect company assets, assure adherence to policies and procedures, and monitor compliance with gaming regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Retrieve and organize information from revenue centers
  2. Review, compile and maintain data
  3. Enter data in spreadsheets and other computer programs
  4. Make corrections to documentation as necessary
  5. Follow up on any inconsistencies that may be found in the course of the audit
  6. Issue audit exceptions as necessary
  7. Monitor data for trends and report all trends found to Revenue Audit Manager
  8. Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Minimum of high school graduate or equivalent required.
  2. Minimum of 1 to 2 years of general accounting experience or revenue audit experience within a casino environment.
  3. Use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access) as well for spreadsheet, reporting
  4. Ability to use normal office equipment with some proficiency such as, but not limited to, 10-key; printer; copier; and telephone.
  5. Ability to learn to use other software used to monitor casino operations (Konami, Micros, Vendor operating systems, etc…)
  6. Ability to communicate both verbally and written using appropriate English standards of language

Security Officers safeguard the assets of the company while providing a safe and secure environment for all of our guests and employees. They are the first face of the casino and greet every guest in a professional, upbeat manner. Officers are responsible for checking I.D.’s, watching the gaming floor for suspicious activities, assisting in dispute resolution with discretion, and responding to calls with a sense of urgency.

Responsible for ensuring maximum customer service and satisfaction by orchestrating through the employees, production of quality food, and high standards of service in accordance with Company policy and Procedures and Gaming regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enforces performance standards, policies, and procedures in the venue are in accordance with the Company’s expectations.
  • Responsible for complying with all food and beverage health, liquor, and safety regulations; as well as all federal, state, and local applicable laws.
  • Responsible for the evaluating and training of the employees ensuring staff compliance with all customer service standards.
  • Ensures venue floor operations are running in a smooth, efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for listening to, evaluating, and assuring control of customers’ grievances.
  • Monitors job performances of all the employees and provides feedback on some to aid the employees in developing and enhancing skills.
  • Confers with Food & Beverage Manager concerning operational deficiencies and areas in need of attention.
  • Responsible for the supervision and training of Beverage Servers, Bartenders, wait staff, and barbacks on an assigned shift.
  • Ensures smooth and efficient service throughout all Food & Beverage facilities in the Casino.
  • Handles employee relation issues as needed after conferring with Food & Beverage Manager
  • Supervises and reports all employee call-ins and scheduling conflicts to management to ensure a cost-effective staffing level.
  • Knowledge of all State alcohol and gaming regulations and ensures adherence.
  • Make recommendations and suggestions and hire, suspend, transfer, discipline, and terminate after conferring with Food & Beverage Manager.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
  • Promotes positive customer relations.
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality
  • Initiates and maintains communication with subordinates, employees, management, and other departments in facilitating the flow of information throughout the property.
  • Responsibilities include training employees, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
  • Fill in for F&B Cashiers for breaks, lunch, absences, and PTO as needed.

Education and/or Experience:    

High School Diploma or GED and/or two to four years beverage serving experience. Gaming experience preferred.

Maintenance Technician 
Full Time (must be flexible)

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr +  company paid benefits after 90 days.

The primary objective of the Maintenance Technician is to apply knowledge and skills to perform the regular and recurring maintenance, installation, and repair work of the department using any of the equipment authorized and available. Must have experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and drywall.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Maintain daily trash pickup around the outside of the casino, the 825 professional building, and the Cemetery
  2. Maintain all company Vehicles and machinery used by the facilities department
  3. Maintain the mowing, trimming, weeding, pruning of all greenspace of the Casino and Cemetery
  4. Apply fertilizers, insecticides, and other chemicals to turf areas, trees, and shrubs
  5. Maintain all landscaped areas of the Casino and Cemetery
  6. Operate snow removal equipment as needed and spread ice-melting chemicals around the property as needed
  7. Maintain Facilities workshop i.e. cleaning, organizing, and stocking
  8. Performs skilled work using shop equipment and power tools such as drills, saws, sanders, planers, air nailers, routers, and other tools provided in the maintenance, repair, alteration, and remodeling of buildings
  9. Work with other department needs as directed by interdepartmental work orders i.e. but not limited to carrying heavy box’s, removing and replacing office equipment, and installing devices or objects
  10. Work on special projects that are assigned by the Facilities Manager
  11. Perform all work with sound safety practices
  12. Communicate effectively as a team member
  13. Flexibility to be available for emergency call-outs during time off
  14. May perform portions of the work of higher classified positions occasionally as assigned
