Bartender
Full Time (days)

The primary objective of the Bartender is to prepare beverages and provide service in a friendly, courteous, timely manner resulting in guest satisfaction. Must have previous experience bartending in a casino, restaurant or bar environment, and at least 1-year POS experience.

Maintenance Technician
Full Time (must be flexible)

The primary objective of the General Maintenance Worker is to apply knowledge and skills to perform the regular and recurring maintenance, installation, and repair work of the department using any of the equipment authorized and available.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Maintain daily trash pickup around the outside of the casino, the 825 professional building, and the Cemetery
  • Maintain all company Vehicles and machinery used by the facilities department
  • Maintain the mowing, trimming, weeding, pruning of all Greenspace of the Casino and Cemetery
  • Apply fertilizers, insecticides and other chemicals to turf areas, trees, and shrubs
  • Maintain all landscaped areas of the Casino and Cemetery
  • Operate snow removal equipment as needed and spread ice-melting chemicals around the property as needed
  • Maintain Facilities workshop i.e. cleaning, organizing and stocking
  • Performs work using shop equipment and power tools such as drills, saws, sanders, planers, air nailers, routers and other tools provided in the maintenance, repair, alteration, and remodeling of buildings
  • Work with other department needs as directed by interdepartmental work orders i.e. but not limited to carrying heavy box’s, removing and replacing of office equipment and installing devices or objects
  • Work on special projects that are assigned by the Facilities Manager
  • Perform all work with sound safety practices
  • Communicate effectively as a team member
  • Flexibility to be available for emergency call-outs during time off
  • May perform portions of the work of higher classified positions occasionally as assigned

Player’s Club Representative (PCR)
Full Time (swing)

The primary objective of the (PCR) Player’s Club Representative is promoting the success of the Club by assisting customers through the membership process, explaining the benefits of membership, accessing member accounts, and assisting with promotions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Maintains a working knowledge of the Club in order to effectively explain benefits to customers
2. Maintains a working knowledge of the property, as well as current and upcoming special events, in order to advise customers and fellow employees of same, whenever possible
3. Serves as a customer service concierge to the customers
4. Enrolls new members and educates them on the benefits of the Lucky 7 Club
5. Issues Lucky 7 Club cards to members
6. Accesses member accounts to assist with point verification and redemption and issues rewards for customers when an appropriate level of play has been established
7. Promotes Club membership and provides information to potential members
8. Promotes and carries out customer promotions
9. Sells event tickets and facilitates tournament buy-ins
10. Assists members of management and other marketing personnel, as needed, with Club related matters
11. Resolves minor customer conflicts which relate to the Club
12. Facilitates the flow of information, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings
13. Maintains a consistent and regular attendance record
14. Routinely inspect the stock of Club printed material and re-stocks same, as needed

Pull Team Specialist
Full Time (early mornings)

  • 4:00am – 2:30pm
  • 10 hours, 4 days a week

The primary function of the Pull Team Specialist is to collect bill acceptor cans from the casino floor during the Drop, sort currency and gaming instruments from drop boxes, provide an accurate total and input count data into count room computer system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Maneuvers in and around the casino floor while controlling numerous drop carts
2. Maintains constant communication with Security and Surveillance during the Drop
3. Must be able to follow strict procedural guidelines
4. Sorts, counts, and records contents of bill acceptor cans from casino floor drop
5. Responsible to balance funds and create daily reports
6. Operates currency counter equipment, including the cleaning and minor maintenance of the equipment
7. Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

1. Minimum of high school graduate or equivalent preferred
2. Must be able to grip objects and have good finger movement when counting and handling currency and gaming instruments
3. Must be able to stand for long periods of time (10 hours)

Security Officer

Security Officer’s safeguard the assets of the company while providing a safe and secure environment for all of our guests and employees. They are the first face of the Casino and greet every guest in a professional, upbeat manner. Officer’s are responsible for checking I.D.’s, watching the gaming floor for suspicious activities, assisting in dispute resolution with discretion and responding to calls with a sense of urgency.

  • Minimum of high school graduate or equivalent with 6 months of work-related experience preferred.

The primary objective of the Surveillance Operator is observing, monitoring and recording all activity occurring in the casino area and record the observations in writing as required. Full-Time 

The primary objective of the Vault Cashier is to distribute monies to casino employees via the distribution of banks, processing of cashier buys and payment of jackpot winnings, as well as safeguarding company assets while dealing with all employees in an efficient and courteous manner. Must have 2 years prior cash handling experience, excellent guest service (internal and external) skills, the ability to enter data and read and interpret output from the computer and basic math skills including the ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide by 10 and 100.

Successful completion of Basic/Standard Math test required.

IT Manager
Full Time

The primary objective of the IT Manager is to manage all casino organization technologies and provide technical support and training.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Directs the day-to-day operations of the IT department and assigns staff in compliance with all applicable internal policies, procedures, gaming regulations, and external agency requirements.
  • Plans, implements and directs all departmental procedures for the Systems Department, for the accomplishment of business objectives.
  • Ensures proper licensing and adequate support for all system users, reviews reports, audits, addressing potential conflicts and/or misinformation.4.
  • Develops and administers departmental operating budget and controls.
  • Sets schedules and job duties while maintaining hours for proper staffing.
  • Operate and maintain local area network systems VPN, wireless, voice, and firewall.
  • Coordinate policy, procedure, configuration, and other standards with corporate IT Department.
  • Set permissions for access, assign different levels of access to different levels of authority.
  • Assist leadership with the purchase of systems related equipment and supplies and selects and/or designs software and hardware to meet the needs of the company.
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Initiates and maintains communication with subordinates, employees, management, and other departments in facilitating the flow of information throughout the property.
  • Facilitates the continuous improvement of IT processes, internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure that all applications, network systems, and other IT assets function properly and are properly safeguarded.
  • Creates and maintains disaster recovery, security and backup and restore plans and policies.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Deal tactfully with guests when handling unexpected situations, finding solutions that ensure customer satisfaction with the minimal financial impact on Casino operations.
  • You may be required to perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Educational/Experience:

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science (or related) and 5-6 years of experience in network information processing, casino related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience with casino management systems such as Konami SYNKROS.
  • Experience with Micros Symphony, 3700, or 9700.
  • Experience with vault software such as Cash Track, Casino Facts, or Certegy.
