Beverage Server
Full Time & Part Time Shifts available(evening)

Are you a Rock Star in the service industry? If so, 7th Street wants you! We currently have several openings for Beverage Servers to expedite alcohol and non-alcoholic beverage orders to patrons of the 7th Street Casino.  Full time and part time positions are available.

  • Provide prompt, courteous, and friendly service to all casino guests and team members

The primary objective of the Cage Cashier is to distribute moneys to gaming guests via check cashing and the conversion of gaming instruments into currency, as well as safeguarding company assets while dealing with the public in an efficient and courteous manner.

The primary objective of the EVS Attendant is to be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and attractive environment for team members, patrons, and vendors of the 7th Street Casino.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Perform cleaning duties in all areas of the facility including; but not limited to; cleaning, sweeping, mopping, washing, waxing, polishing, vacuuming, and spot, stain or dirt removal of all floors, rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies, dusting, scrubbing, sanitizing, and buffing including using some machinery as required such as vacuums or floor cleaners
2. Maintain cleanliness of all areas including picking up litter, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning ashtrays, and removal and transport of garbage
3. Clean all walls, ceilings, doors, windows, sills, furniture, woodwork, and fixtures in all areas of the facility
4. Clean and service restrooms including replenishing bathroom supplies
5. Stock and supply all service areas with appropriate cleaning supplies
6. Assist all departments by responding to housekeeping calls
7. Clean and maintain tables, chairs, fixtures, décor, and machines as needed
8. Attend all departmental and company training programs or meetings as directed
9. Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Maintenance Technician
Full Time (days)

General Maintenance Workers apply their knowledge and skills to perform the regular and recurring maintenance, installation, and repair work of the department using any of the equipment authorized and available. Must have previous experience working with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, drywall, use of shop equipment including power tools such as drills, saws, sanders, planers, air nailers, routers and other tools provided in the maintenance, repair, alteration, and remodeling of buildings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Maintain daily trash pickup around the outside of the casino, the 825 professional building and the Cemetery
  • Maintain all company Vehicles and machinery used by facilities department
  • Maintain the mowing, trimming, weeding, pruning of all Green space of the Casino and Cemetery
  • Apply fertilizers, insecticides and other chemicals to turf areas, trees and shrubs
  • Maintain all landscaped areas of the Casino and Cemetery
  • Operate snow removal equipment as needed and spread ice melting chemicals around the property as needed
  • Maintain Facilities work shop i.e. cleaning, organizing and stocking
  • Performs work using shop equipment and power tools such as drills, saws, sanders, planers, air nailers, routers and other tools provided in the maintenance, repair, alteration, and remodeling of buildings
  • Work with other department needs as directed by interdepartmental work orders i.e. but not limited to carrying heavy box’s, removing and replacing of office equipment and installing devices or objects
  • Work on special projects that are assigned by the Facilities Manager
  • Perform all work with sound safety practices

The primary function of the Count Team Specialist is to collect bill acceptor cans from the casino floor during the Drop, sort currency and gaming instruments from drop boxes, provide an accurate total and input count data into count room computer system.

JOB QUALFICATIONS

  • Minimum of high school graduate or equivalent
  • Must be able to grip objects and have good finger movement when counting and handling currency and gaming instruments
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (10 hours)
  • Must have a general working knowledge of a computer (keyboard and printer)
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule to include early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team in a closely monitored small count room

Security Officer’s safeguard the assets of the company while providing a safe and secure environment for all of our guests and employees. They are the first face of the Casino and greet every guest in a professional, upbeat manner. Checking I.D.’s, watching the gaming floor for suspicious activities, assisting in dispute resolution with discretion and responding to calls with a sense of urgency.

JOB QUALFICATIONS

  • Minimum of high school graduate or equivalent with 6 months of work related experience preferred.

We’re currently looking for a new Slot Attendant to assists guests overnight. The primary objective of the Slot Attendant is to monitor the performance of slot machines, the activity and condition of the casino floor and ensure all slot machines are operable. Responsible for guest relations, recognizing jackpots and conducting payouts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Must maintain a friendly, pleasant attitude at all times
2. Communicate with guests and other team members
3. Responsible for guest relations
4. Maintain the knowledge of special events and promotional activities
5. Know and read basic slot machine functions
6. Verify jackpots and fill out paperwork pertaining to them
7. Complete slot department paperwork with minimum errors

9. Handle and secure keys and hand-held radio within the department guidelines

The Manager on Duty facilitates communication with the General Manager and Operations Manager for both internal and external guests by overseeing the entire casino operations when the departmental managers are unavailable. Must have 2 years of Supervising or Management in Gaming required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Type and word-process the daily shift report
2. Communicate and provide information to the departmental managers to assist in effective service for our internal and external guests
3. Research and investigate information to solve and handle any situations that may arise in the casino on a daily basis
4. Arrange and participate in meetings, conferences, and project team activities
5. Personal time management skills to allow for coordination of meeting deadlines for various projects or tasks assigned by any departmental manager
6. Adhere to state or gaming policies and procedures relating to health, safety, and quality of management.
7. Verify and authorize any large jackpot payout
