Beverage Server
Full Time & Part Time Shifts available(evening)

Are you a Rock Star in the service industry? If so, 7th Street wants you! We currently have several openings for Beverage Servers to expedite alcohol and non-alcoholic beverage orders to patrons of the 7th Street Casino.  Full time and part time positions are available.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide prompt, courteous, and friendly service to all casino guests and team members

Part Time (evening)

The primary objective of the Food & Beverage Cashier is to ensure smooth & efficient operation of an F&B venue by providing courteous and prompt service to the guests.

Full Time (overnight)

The primary objective of the Cage Cashier is to distribute money to gaming guests via check cashing and the conversion of gaming instruments into currency, as well as safeguarding company assets while dealing with the public in an efficient and courteous manner.

  • Safeguards company assets and adhere to Cage policies and procedures
  • Maintains and is held accountable for all funds entrusted to him/her on an assigned shift

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic math skills including the ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide by 10 and 100

Lucky 7 Club Rep
Full Time (evening)

The primary objective of the (PCR) Player’s Club Representative is promoting the success of the Club by assisting customers through the membership process, explaining the benefits of membership, accessing member accounts, and assisting with promotions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Maintains a working knowledge of the Club in order to effectively explain benefits to customers
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the property, as well as current and upcoming special events, in order to advise customers and fellow employees of same, whenever possible
  • Serves as a customer service concierge to the customers
  • Enrolls new members and educate them on the benefits of the Lucky 7 Club
  • Issues Lucky 7 Club cards to members
  • Accesses member accounts to assist with point verification and redemption and issues rewards for customers when an appropriate level of play has been established
  • Promotes Club membership and provides information to potential membersPromotes and carries out customer promotions
  • Sells event tickets and facilitates tournament buy-ins

Security Officer

Security Officer’s safeguard the assets of the company while providing a safe and secure environment for all of our guests and employees. They are the first face of the Casino and greet every guest in a professional, upbeat manner. Officer’s are responsible for checking I.D.’s, watching the gaming floor for suspicious activities, assisting in dispute resolution with discretion and responding to calls with a sense of urgency.

Surveillance Operator
Full Time (must be flexible)

The primary objective of the Surveillance Operator is observing, monitoring and recording all activity occurring in the casino area and record the observations in writing as required. The right candidate will possess at least one year of experience in use of all Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for spreadsheet, reporting, and presentation development and possess the ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a high stress/profile environment. Must be flexible.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Perform duties in compliance with company standards
  • Protect the assets of the casino and its employees
  • Ensure adherence to all gaming regulations and report any violations of procedure
  • Prepare reports as directed by the surveillance manager
  • Report any malfunctions of surveillance equipment and make recommendations and justifications for repairs or replacements

IT Manager
Full Time

The primary objective of the IT Manager is to manage all casino organization technologies and provide technical support and training.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Directs the day-to-day operations of the IT department and assigns staff in compliance with all applicable internal policies, procedures, gaming regulations, and external agency requirements.
  • Plans, implements and directs all departmental procedures for the Systems Department, for the accomplishment of business objectives.
  • Ensures proper licensing and adequate support for all system users, reviews reports, audits, addressing potential conflicts and/or misinformation.4.
  • Develops and administers departmental operating budget and controls.
  • Sets schedules and job duties while maintaining hours for proper staffing.
  • Operate and maintain local area network systems VPN, wireless, voice, and firewall.
  • Coordinate policy, procedure, configuration, and other standards with corporate IT Department.
  • Set permissions for access, assign different levels of access to different levels of authority.
  • Assist leadership with the purchase of systems related equipment and supplies and selects and/or designs software and hardware to meet the needs of the company.
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Initiates and maintains communication with subordinates, employees, management, and other departments in facilitating the flow of information throughout the property.
  • Facilitates the continuous improvement of IT processes, internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure that all applications, network systems, and other IT assets function properly and are properly safeguarded.
  • Creates and maintains disaster recovery, security and backup and restore plans and policies.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Deal tactfully with guests when handling unexpected situations, finding solutions that ensure customer satisfaction with the minimal financial impact on Casino operations.
  • You may be required to perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Educational/Experience:

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science (or related) and 5-6 years of experience in network information processing, casino related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Willingness to learn specialized software and troubleshooting skills with a wide variety of 3rd party software systems.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as technical journals.
  • Must be reliable, punctual and cooperative with co-workers and managers.
  • Maintain a professional and even-tempered demeanor in a high-stress environment.
  • Ability to work in areas containing high noise levels and second-hand smoke.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS PREFERRED

  • MS Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or similar.
  • Experience with casino management systems such as Konami SYNKROS.
  • Experience with Micros Symphony, 3700, or 9700.
  • Experience with vault software such as Cash Track, Casino Facts, or Certegy.
  • Strong understanding of POS systems and associated hardware (scanners, printers, signature pads, etc.)
