OPEN POSITIONS

Beverage Server
Full Time & Part Time Shifts available(evening)

Are you a Rock Star in the service industry? If so, 7th Street wants you! We currently have several openings for Beverage Servers to expedite alcohol and non-alcoholic beverage orders to patrons of the 7th Street Casino.  Full time and part time positions are available.

*Must be available nights, weekends and holidays.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide prompt, courteous, and friendly service to all casino guests and team members
  • Greet guests and build personal first name relationships
  • Maintain a well stocked, orderly, and clean work and guest environment
  • Restock beverage service areas to meet guest demands
  • Responsible for beverage sales reports and all cash/comp sales transactions
  • Adhere to all internal controls and accounting policies and procedures of 7th Street Casino
  • Understand and perform at high level on computer based Point of Sale system
  • Successful completion of Alcohol Service Program (T.I.P.S.)

Cage/Vault Cashier 
Full Time (evening / overnight)

*Must be available nights, weekends and holidays.

The primary objective of the Cage Cashier is to distribute moneys to gaming guests via check cashing and the conversion of gaming instruments into currency, as well as safeguarding company assets while dealing with the public in an efficient and courteous manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Safeguards company assets and adhere to Cage policies and procedures
  • Maintains and is held accountable for all funds entrusted to him/her on an assigned shift
  • Provides prompt, friendly, and courteous service to all guests in a confidential manner
  • Creates teamwork by helping co-workers with essential functions
  • Balances all money transactions and paperwork
  • Meets all attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies

EVS Attendant (housekeeping)
Full Time (overnights)

The primary objective of the EVS Attendant is to be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and attractive environment for team members, patrons, and vendors of the 7th Street Casino.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Perform cleaning duties in all areas of the facility including; but not limited to; cleaning, sweeping, mopping, washing, waxing, polishing, vacuuming, and spot, stain or dirt removal of all floors, rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies, dusting, scrubbing, sanitizing, and buffing including using some machinery as required such as vacuums or floor cleaners
2. Maintain cleanliness of all areas including picking up litter, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning ashtrays, and removal and transport of garbage
3. Clean all walls, ceilings, doors, windows, sills, furniture, woodwork, and fixtures in all areas of the facility
4. Clean and service restrooms including replenishing bathroom supplies
5. Stock and supply all service areas with appropriate cleaning supplies
6. Assist all departments by responding to housekeeping calls
7. Clean and maintain tables, chairs, fixtures, décor, and machines as needed
8. Attend all departmental and company training programs or meetings as directed
9. Adhere to all company policies and procedures
10. Adhere to all gaming laws and regulations
11. Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner including use of appropriate personal protective equipment where applicable and keeping areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter

Pull Team Specialist
Full Time (day)

  • 4 Day Work Week! Guaranteed 40 hours!
  • 4:00am – 2:30pm Mon, Thurs, Fri and Saturdays

The primary function of the Count Team Specialist is to collect bill acceptor cans from the casino floor during the Drop, sort currency and gaming instruments from drop boxes, provide an accurate total and input count data into count room computer system.

JOB QUALFICATIONS

  • Minimum of high school graduate or equivalent
  • Must be able to grip objects and have good finger movement when counting and handling currency and gaming instruments
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (10 hours)
  • Must have a general working knowledge of a computer (keyboard and printer)
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule to include early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team in a closely monitored small count room

Security Officer
Full Time (evening and overnight shifts available)

Security Officer’s safeguard the assets of the company while providing a safe and secure environment for all of our guests and employees. They are the first face of the Casino and greet every guest in a professional, upbeat manner. Checking I.D.’s, watching the gaming floor for suspicious activities, assisting in dispute resolution with discretion and responding to calls with a sense of urgency.

JOB QUALFICATIONS

  • Minimum of high school graduate or equivalent with 6 months of work related experience preferred.
  • Use of all Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for spreadsheet, reporting, and presentation development.
  • Ability to have a flexible schedule to provide for Casino requirements.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a high stress/profile environment.
  • Excellent guest service skills are essential.
  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Ability to listen to and resolve guest concerns.
  • Ability to carry out instructions.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude towards guests, co-workers, and other department staff.

Security Supervisor
Full Time (overnights – must be flexible)

Responsible for monitoring and supervising the daily security operation on an assigned shift while ensuring that courteous and prompt service is provided by department employees. Assists in protecting all casino assets and ensuring that the department is running efficiently and safely within the guidelines of the Wyandotte Nation Operation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Safeguards assets of the company.
• Take the initiative to evaluate customers for intoxication, evaluate them competently and in a timely manner.
• Follow and comply with the Wyandotte Nation Gaming rules and regulations regarding the process, and follow thru of intoxicated patrons.
• Implements Security Department policies and procedures as directed by the Security Manager.
• Supervises on a shift basis, all security personnel for the protection of customers, employees and the property.
• Plans and schedules all security activities for a shift.
• Conducts follow-up investigations on reports as directed.
• Investigates employee fraud against the property and customers as directed.
• Investigates accident reports as directed.
• Tours property to ensure compliance with gaming rules and regulations.
• Prevents the entrance of unauthorized or inebriated persons, paying particular attention to individuals under 21 years of age.
• Knowledgeable of Security officer duties.
• Monitors weather conditions and reports/contacts to MOD when severe.
• Ensures that proper department uniform, appearance and grooming standards are followed.
• Attends all company required training.
• Complies with all Wyandotte Nation Gaming Commission Rules and Regulations and any other local, state, or federal guidelines.
• Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
• Adheres to all safety guidelines.
• Meets company attendance requirements.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• High School graduate or GED Certification.
• At least 2 years security experience preferred.
• Past supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Wyandotte Nation Gaming Rules and Regulations.
