Each year 7th Street Casino sponsors various events to support charitable organizations. Take a look at some of our past events.

7th Annual Charity Golf TournamentAugust 31, 2016

August 31st, 2016 marked the Wyandotte Nation and 7th Street Casino’s seventh annual Heartland Honor Flight Charity Golf Tournament. The event was held at Dub's Dread Golf Coures in Kansas City, Kansas and raised $25,000 for the non-profit organization. Each year the Heartland Honor Flight organization raises money for local Veterans to have the ability to visit Washington D.C. and the national monuments made in remembrance of the wars they fought. All expenses for the trips are paid for by the organization. Wyandotte Nation and 7th Street Casino were honored partners of this cherished local tradition and we give thanks to all of the sponsors and participants of the event.

6th Annual Charity Golf TournamentSeptember 2, 2015

7th Street Casino hosted its sixth annual charity golf tournament on September 2nd, 2015 at Prairie Highlands Golf Course in Olathe, KS. This year’s beneficiary was Heartland Honor Flight; a Greater Kansas City area, non-profit organization that transports American Veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. This year, 7th Street Casino and Wyandotte Nation donated $30,000 from the support of our loyal sponsors and the dedicated golfers.

Stride for Life 5k 2015 - Run/WalkApril 25, 2015

7th Street Casino held its 6th annual “Stride for Life 5k Run” Saturday April 25, 2015 at Pierson Park in support of Due West Therapeutic Riding Center.
Due West Therapeutic Riding Center (DWTRC) provides therapeutic riding services to children and adults with cognitive, physical, socio-emotional disabilities and other therapeutic needs. The program forms a connection between horse, rider, staff and volunteers that improves well-being. In addition, the beautiful property offers families the time they need away from stress and clinical environments. The program serves Wyandotte, Leavenworth, Johnson, and Douglas counties and the greater Kansas City area.

Get Your Rear in Gear 5kSeptember 20, 2014

Congratulations to our very own Anthony for finishing in 3rd place in his age group at the Get Your Rear in Gear 5k in Kansas City, KS on September 20th! Anthony, along with the 7th Street Steppers team, helped raise awareness for the Colon Cancer Coalition.

5th Annual Charity Golf TournamentSeptember 3, 2014

7th Street Casino hosted its fifth annual Charity Golf Tournament on September 3, 2014 at Sycamore Ridge Golf Course. This year 7th Street Casino supported Heartland Honor Flight. Heartland Honor Flight is a Greater Kansas City area, non-profit organization that transports American Veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. 7th Street Stride for Life 2014April 12, 2014

The team at 7th Street Casino hosts its very own 5K run/walk every year in support of a local charity. In the past four years it raised funds for women’s heart health, KU Oncology and Special Olympics Kansas; this year it benefited Due West Therapeutic Riding Center.

7th Street Casino Annual Golf TournamentSeptember 4, 2013

Team members of 7th Street Casino host an annual golf tournament in benefit of various Wyandotte county charities and organizations. Companies and individuals in the community are encouraged to join us as sponsors. This years event was at Sycamore Ridge Golf Course in Spring Hill, KS.

Komen Race for the CureAugust 11, 2013

Susan G. Komen for the Cure is a global movement raising funds to enhance research and fight against breast cancer in the United States and throughout the world. The race series, which is celebrating 20 years this summer, features a 5K run and fitness walk throughout numerous cities. Upwards of 75 percent of net proceeds benefit local programs and 25 percent funds research. Members from the 7th Street Casino team ran in the past four annual races in Kansas City.

Hospital Hill RunJune 1, 2013

Celebrating 40 years this June, Hospital Hill Run is the longest-running race in Kansas City. It offers three distances—a 5K, 10K and half marathon—which all start and finish near Crown Center. Companies bothlarge and small can race on behalf of any charity. Team members at 7th Street Casino participated the last four years to support the Alzheimer’s Association.
